This Privacy Policy is issued by RAAHSATHI PRIVATE LIMITED (referred to as "RaahSathi", "we", "us", or "our"). We act as a responsible Data Fiduciary ensuring all user, driver, and partner data collected across our mobility platform is encrypted, processed solely for verified roadside operations, and never sold to third parties.
1 Information We Collect
To deliver 25-minute emergency breakdown rescue and seamless mobility services across India, we collect only the strictly essential data:
- Motorist Contact Data: Full name, active mobile number (used for emergency dispatch OTP and SMS updates), and optional email for digital tax invoices.
- Vehicle Profile: Registration number, vehicle category (2-Wheeler, Car, Auto-Rickshaw, E-Rickshaw, Commercial Truck, Heavy JCB), and make/model to ensure the dispatched technician has appropriate tools and parts.
- Real-Time GPS Telemetry: Precise geographic coordinates collected only during active assistance requests to dispatch the closest partner unit and provide live navigation.
- Partner KYC & Verification Data: Government identity (Aadhaar / Driving License), workshop commercial registry, bank account / UPI VPA for wallet settlements, and police verification clearance.
2 How We Use Your Data
We process your data strictly under lawful consent for the following operational purposes:
- Calculating standardized upfront pricing through our weighted 4-layer pricing engine with zero manual bias.
- Algorithmic matching and dispatching of the nearest KYC-verified mechanic, mobile EV charging van, standby rental car, or highway motel.
- Facilitating secure 100% Escrow payment holds and releasing funds only after mutual 4-digit PIN verification.
- Broadcasting real-time WhatsApp or SMS emergency SOS tracking links to your designated emergency contacts during highway distress.
- Complying with statutory tax, GST invoice filing, and motor vehicle safety regulations under Indian law.
3 Live GPS Location Telemetry & Privacy Shield
Location data is critical for highway rescue, and we enforce a strict Zero-Surveillance Architecture:
- Location permission is queried only when initiating an emergency booking or viewing nearby EV charging / motel rest stops.
- Your live coordinates are shared exclusively with your assigned technician during active transit and automatically decoupled upon job completion.
- We maintain a strict Zero Third-Party Advertising Policy — your movement history is never sold, leased, or shared with data brokers.
4 Financial Data & Escrow Vault Security
All payments on RaahSathi are executed through RBI-regulated, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways (Razorpay, UPI NPCI rails):
- No Stored Card Data: Debit/Credit card numbers and CVV codes are never stored on RaahSathi application databases.
- Escrow Vault Protection: Authorized funds remain encrypted in an escrow account until you release them via secret PIN.
- Instant Refund Authorization: In the event of service cancellation or SLA breach, refunds are triggered through automated webhook APIs directly to your originating UPI or bank account.
5 User Rights Under DPDP Act 2023
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you retain complete sovereignty over your information:
- Right to Access & Summary: View all active and historical breakdown records linked to your phone number.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: Request updating of outdated vehicle details or complete account erasure.
- Right of Grievance Redressal: Direct escalation path to our designated Data Protection Officer.
